This started as an idea for the theme you suggested, Ann, but became a dragon instead of a horse.....meh..




This may look a little familiar - this is another drawing of another design I did before, but I did this one for a mural I'm planning on painting this weekend, at work, with the help of Ian and Gillian. I gets to PAINT!!

Feb 19th-24th efforts...

I thought I should do some monster pics, I'm not great at that genre. Props to Grant for his amazing monster abilities, and Rae for her creature designs. Talent! I know the squid isn't actually a monster, he's monsterous. I almost didn't post the werewolf guy, I don't think it works.

I did a sketch of my most recent D&D character, Laryzza, and I'll colour it and post the final one on my RPG blog soon.

And here's a sketch I did as a baby shower gift for my friend. She just had a baby in December, little Mia, and this was her ultrasound pic. I'm cheap/broke so I hope it'll make a good present.

Draweringses and Sketchymicdoodles Stuffs

here is some sketchy goodness i did just before leaving germany. I KNOW, I KNOW... that's kinda cheatin', especially when i DID draw other stuff this week - but i left it at work and didn't get a chance to scan it in, bla bla bla (even more excuses and whatnot). just shut it and enjoy the drawings will ya!

a cutesy fairy design - trying to do an original take on these fictional creatures... i wanted to incorporate more 'animalistic' features (researched some deer and rabbit anatomy).

the setting for this project was in a forest, so... i did some tree studies. but not just any trees - they had to be gnarly old twisted trees. trees that look like carcasses with their decaying organs on the outside. yum!

lastly here's a design i did for the 'forest troll'. an ambush predator (note the awesome natural camo :) and 'ass claws' to clamp down onto the ground, making for a more stable base when lashing out with those long clawed hands.

that's right... ass clamps. you KNOW you want 'em!

I hope my first post on here is to everybody's liking.....even though it's not really a 'sketch'......well, it's KINDA sketchy, ya, know, not CLEAN or anything, so TECHNICALLY it is a 'sketch' or atleast many, MANY sketches all at once, so, really, I've just done a whole LOT of sketches......ha HA! My logic is undeniable.....
