Draweringses and Sketchymicdoodles Stuffs

here is some sketchy goodness i did just before leaving germany. I KNOW, I KNOW... that's kinda cheatin', especially when i DID draw other stuff this week - but i left it at work and didn't get a chance to scan it in, bla bla bla (even more excuses and whatnot). just shut it and enjoy the drawings will ya!

a cutesy fairy design - trying to do an original take on these fictional creatures... i wanted to incorporate more 'animalistic' features (researched some deer and rabbit anatomy).

the setting for this project was in a forest, so... i did some tree studies. but not just any trees - they had to be gnarly old twisted trees. trees that look like carcasses with their decaying organs on the outside. yum!

lastly here's a design i did for the 'forest troll'. an ambush predator (note the awesome natural camo :) and 'ass claws' to clamp down onto the ground, making for a more stable base when lashing out with those long clawed hands.

that's right... ass clamps. you KNOW you want 'em!
